Little did I know what God's
blessings could relieve.

Then from out of nowhere came
a loved one, then a friend.

To hold my hand and support me
and know I could surely depend.

I write this poem to you and it
comes straight from the heart.

To let you know with passing time
my feelings will not depart.

God gave these words to me for you
with tender love and care.
